Tool | Copy/Paste transform values seamlessly between files.

I have the commands on my CTRL + SHIFT + C (to copy), and CTRL + SHIFT + V (to paste) to make my life easier.

If you don't want to use the shelf buttons:

• Right click the shelf button. Go to Window>Settings/Preferences>Hotkeys Editor.
• Click on the Runtime Command Editor and select New>Add a Name and  Description (it can be whatever you want).
• Go to Edit Hotkeys For:> Select "Custom Scripts"
• Select your script and assign a hotkey combination that suits you. 

Functionality

Allows you to copy paste all the transforms between different objects, not just within the file that you are working on, but between different maya files.
